1 Praise him! praise him! Jesus, our blessed Redeemer!
Sing, O earth his wonderful love proclaim!
Hail him! hail him! highest archangels in glory,
Strength and honor give to his holy name!
Like a shepherd Jesus will guard his children —
In his arms he carries them all day long:
Refrain:
Praise him! praise him! tell of his excellent greatness!
Praise him! praise him! ever in joyful song!
2 Praise him! praise him! Jesus, our blessed Redeemer!
For our sins he suffered and bled and died;
He our Rock, our hope of eternal salvation,
Hail him! hail him! Jesus the Crucified.
Sound his praises — Jesus who bore our sorrows —
Love unbounded, wonderful, deep and strong: [Refrain]
3 Praise him! praise him! Jesus, our blessed Redeemer!
Heav’nly portals loud with hosannas ring!
Jesus, Savior, reigneth for ever and ever,
Crown him! crown him! Prophet and Priest and King!
Christ is coming, over the world victorious —
Pow’r and glory unto the Lord belong: [Refrain]
INVOCATION: In Unison
Gracious God, make each of us an instrument of Your grace. Weave us into a community showing forth Your power and tenderness. Bless us and our differences and under gird our courage to stand together. We call on You today to gather us in Your love. Lead us to better know You and glorify You on each step of the journey of our lives. For to You belong all glory, laud and honor, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, three persons and one God, world without end. Amen.
HYMN OF WORSHIP: “He Touched Me”
1 Shackled by a heavy burden,
‘Neath a load of guilt and shame.
Then the hand of Jesus touched me,
And now I am no longer the same.
Refrain:
He touched me, Oh He touched me,
And oh, the joy that floods my soul!
Something happened and now I know,
He touched me and made me whole.
2 Since I met this blessed Savior,
Since He cleansed and made me whole,
I will never cease to praise Him,
I’ll shout it while eternity rolls. (Refrain)
3 He touched me, Oh He touched me,
And oh the joy that floods my soul!
Something happened and now I know
He touched me and made me whole. (Refrain)
CONFESSING OUR SIN TOGETHER: In Unison
Lord, forgive our forgetting you this past week; our ignoring that we have been redeemed at great cost by your precious blood, and now belong to you. Please give us eyes to behold you, O Lord, to grasp with a spiritual perception, how wonderful you are – both your person and your works – that we might increasingly give you the glory that is due your Name. Now and in the coming days, search our hearts by your Holy Spirit. Show us our rebellion, and the things within us that grieve you and block the flow of your grace and love. Have mercy, on us, dear Lord, for your Name’s sake. Use the next few moments for quiet reflection and confession of sins to God.
ASSURANCE OF PARDON:
Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. In Jesus Christ, we are forgiven.

OFFERING OF OUR GIFTS TO GOD FOR RPC MINISTRY & MISSION
DOXOLOGY: On Screen
HYMN OF ADORATION: “Heaven Came Down”
1. O what a wonderful, wonderful day.
Day I will never forget;
After I’d wandered in darkness away,
Jesus my Savior I met.
O what a tender compassionate friend,
He met the need of my heart
Shadows dispelling, with joy I am telling
He made all the darkness depart.
Refrain:
Heaven came down and glory filled my soul.
When at the cross my Savior made me whole.
My sins were washed away
And my night was turned to day.
2. Born of the spirit from life of above
Into God’s fam’ly divine,
Justified fully through calvary’s love,
O what a standing is mine!
And the transaction so quickly was made
When as a sinner I came,
Took of the offer of grace he did proffer-
He saved me, o praise his dear name! (Refrain)
3. Now, I’ve a hope that will surely endure
After the passing of time;
I have a future in heaven for sure,
There in those mansions sublime.
And it’s because of that wonderful day
When at the cross I believed
Riches eternal and blessings supernal
From his precious hand I received. (Refrain)
SERMON
THE WORD SPEAKS TO OUR LIVES: Pastor Geoffrey Brown
“Godly Affections in Christ’s Church”
No.9: “Rejoicing in the Lord, 101”
CLOSING SONG: “Jesus Paid It All”
1 I hear the Savior say,
“Thy strength indeed is small,
Child of weakness, watch and pray,
Find in Me thine all in all.”
Refrain:
Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow.
2 Lord, now indeed I find
Thy pow’r and Thine alone,
Can change the leper’s spots
And melt the heart of stone. [Refrain]
3 For nothing good have I
Where-by Thy grace to claim;
I’ll wash my garments white
In the blood of Calv’ry’s Lamb. [Refrain]
4 And when, before the throne,
I stand in Him complete,
“Jesus died my soul to save,”
My lips shall still repeat. [Refrain]
