A Brunch and Briefing is planned for our church family this Sunday and will begin at 10:15, following worship.
Following the potluck brunch (please bring something to share), Pastor Berkley will walk us through some of the issues distressing our denomination and causing some congregations to seek association elsewhere.
This is a good opportunity to be knowledgeable about controversies that may arise at the General Assembly, June 30‒July 7 in Pittsburgh, which Pastor Berkley will attend and cover as a reporter for the Presbyterian Layman newspaper.
Possible food items to bring: Fruit platter, bagels and cream cheese, breakfast type egg casseroles, quiche, sweet rolls, juice. The coffee and tea will be provided, as usual.
