Santa’s workshop – Wednesday, December 11, at 2:00 pm, here. Join in on the fun and make some jewelry for yourself or for someone special. Marian Russ will be sharing her skills, talents and equipment to help those who would like to join in. Everyone is invited.
Christmas Brunch on Sunday, December 22 ‒ Remain after worship on December 22 for our annual Christmas Brunch, a time to enjoy food and fellowship together in this Advent season. Why not invite a guest to join you for worship and the brunch?
Our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service will be again at the family-friendly hour of 5:00 pm on Tuesday, December 24. This traditional service of lessons and carols will conclude with everyone holding candles to sing “Silent Night.” Your unchurched friends, relatives, neighbors, and co-workers are more likely to accept your invitation to join you at church on Christmas Eve than any other occasion during the year. Who might you ask to join you?
Your giving this year is being tallied weekly and can be receipted for your tax purposes, if you request it of Sam or Karen Krahenbuhl (674-7184). Please do remember Mt. Pisgah in your end-of-year giving. Your church doesn’t inundate you with requests, as other charities might, but we definitely can use your gifts to end 2013 well and to launch into a bright and effective 2014 with the resources to accomplish our ministry here in Roslyn. Gifts received after December 31 will accrue for 2014.
Pray for the more than 300 children who will be receiving Operation Christmas Child gift boxes from this Church before Christmas. Ask God to touch their lives and help them see how much He loves them, as reflected in our love for them in compiling and sending the packages. You have made Christmas special around the world!
