Saturday | June 29 | 9:00 AM to 4:00 pm: WORKSHOP: How do we address conflict and persecution in a way that honors Christ?
June 29 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
A Biblical Study on Reconciliation for Daily Living.
In this very divided world, how do we stand as ambassadors for Christ allowing God to make His appeal through us?
“Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making His appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.” (2 Corinthians 5:20)
Our natural self wants to use the tools of this world to resolve material issues and to reach a lost world for Christ. The Lord calls us to reconciliation to resolve our own heart issues so that our lives are a testimony to the grace we have in Christ.
How can we live as reconcilers to the world? First, we look at our relationship with God and then we can be honest about our relationships with each other. As we examine our own hearts, we can appreciate the gift of reconciliation that is ours in Jesus Christ and improve our service as Christ’s ambassadors in our everyday life.
You are invited to explore this in a workshop on Conflict Resolution vs. Reconciliation, A Biblical Study on Reconciliation for Daily Living.
Why: To learn, as ambassadors for Christ, to allow God to make his appeal through us.
What: Six (6) 50-minute sessions with breaks and an hour for lunch. Snacks and lunch will be provided

How do we address conflict in a way that honors Christ?
A deeper dive into the workshop:
Plan to join us on Saturday, June 29 for A Biblical Study on Reconciliation for Daily Living. This workshop is being presented by the EPC Reconciliation Team to help us understand conflict and how to address it in a Christ-honoring manner that we can use in our everyday lives – inside or outside the church. Everyone is welcome and invited to attend. You do not need to fill out the Reconciliation forms, be a member, or currently attending RPC to come to the workshop. Time is 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM made up of 6 50-minute sessions with an hour for lunch. Snacks and lunch will be provided.
Where do I learn more?
You are encouraged to pick up the book: “Conflict Resolution vs. Reconciliation” found on the table in the entry of Roslyn Presbyterian Church. There will be small groups forming to discuss what we read and how we live a life worthy of our salvation in Christ. Stay tuned for more information to come.
