SONG OF PRAISE: “O God Beyond All Praising”
1 O God beyond all praising, we worship you today
and sing the love amazing that songs cannot repay;
for we can only wonder at every gift you send,at bles
sings without number and mercies without end:
we lift our hearts before you and wait upon your word,
we honor and adore you, our great and mighty Lord.
2 The flower of earthly splendor in time must surely die,
its fragile bloom surrender to you the Lord most high;
but hidden from all nature the eternal seed is sown –
though small in mortal stature, to heaven’s garden grown:
for Christ the Man from heaven from death has set us free,
and we through him are given the final victory!
3 Then hear, O gracious Savior, accept the love we bring,
that we who know your favor may serve you as our king;
and whether our tomorrows be filled with good or ill,
we’ll triumph through our sorrows and rise to bless you still:
to marvel at your beauty and glory in your ways,
and make a joyful duty our sacrifice of praise.
INVOCATION: In Unison
LORD God of Israel and Father of Jesus Christ, our King, You are the one true and only God, the wonder worker of Your creation. O, that You might grant us unity in Christ and empowered by Your Holy Spirit, that we may serve You and bless Your name in the singing of our hymns and psalms, in the prayers cast at Your feet and in receiving Your word to the nourishment of our souls. For to You be all service, blessing and adoration, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.
HYMN OF WORSHIP: “The God of Abraham Praise”
1 The God of Abraham praise, who reigns enthroned above;
Ancient of Everlasting Days, and God of Love; Jehovah, great I AM!
by earth and heaven confessed; I bow and bless the sacred name forever blest.
2 The great I AM has sworn; I on this oath depend.
I shall, on eagle wings upborne, to heaven ascend.I shall behold God’s face;
I shall God’s power adore, and sing the wonders of God’s grace forevermore.
3 The heavenly land I see, with peace and plenty blest;
a land of sacred liberty, and endless rest. There milk and honey flow,
and oil and wine abound, and trees of life forever grow with mercy crowned.
4 The God who reigns on high the great archangels sing, and “Holy, holy, holy!
cry “Almighty King! Who was, and is, the same, and evermore shall be:
Jehovah, Lord, the great I AM, we worship thee!”
CONFESSING OUR SIN TOGETHER: In Unison
Merciful God, You pardon all who truly repent and turn to You. We humbly confess our sins and ask Your mercy. We have not loved You with a pure heart, nor have we love our neighbor as ourselves. We have not acted in kindness with humility and meekness. Have mercy on us, O God, and in Your great compassion, cleanse us from our sin. Create in us a clean heart and let the peace of Christ rule in us. Restore to us the joy of Your salvation and sustain us with Your bountiful Spirit. Amen. Please the next few moments for quiet reflection and confession of sins to God.
ASSURANCE OF PARDON:
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through Him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

HYMN OF ADORATION: “Across the Lands”
1 You’re the Word of God the Father From before the world began.
Ev’ry star and ev’ry planet Has been fashioned by Your hand.
All creation holds together By the power of Your voice.
Let the skies declare Your glory; Let the land and seas rejoice!
(Refrain)
You’re the Author of creation; You’re the Lord of ev’ry man;
And Your cry of love rings out across the lands.
2 Yet You left the gaze of angels, Came to seek and save the lost,
And exchanged the joy of heaven For the anguish of a cross.
With a prayer You fed the hungry; With a word You calmed the sea;
Yet how silently You suffered That the guilty may go free! (Refrain)
3 With a shout You rose victorious, Wresting vict’ry from the grave,
And ascended into heaven, Leading captives in Your way.
Now You stand before the Father, Interceding for Your own;
From each tribe and tongue and nation, You are leading sinners home! (Refrain)
