This Friday is Good Friday, the day commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, who took the penalty for our sins. For Christians it is a solemn day of remembering the astounding love that carried Jesus to the cross. Take time on Friday to thank Jesus for his sacrifice for our sake. By remembering the darkness of Good Friday, we prepare all the more for the joy of the Day of Resurrection!
There will be a Good Friday Service at Cle Elum Community Church at noon.
Easter is next Sunday. Here is the schedule for your plans:

- Continental Easter Breakfast: 7:30 in the Fellowship Hall
- Easter Worship: 9:00 in the Sanctuary
Who can you invite to join you on the Day of Resurrection? Bring friends and family to this special day of the Christian year.
Interested in becoming a member of Mt. Pisgah? A series of three meetings has been set for Sunday afternoons, 1:00–2:30, April 21, 28, and May 5. Becoming a member is like getting married: it signifies one’s purpose and allegiance, showing that one professes faith and seeks a setting in which to grow, worship, and serve. Please call the church office (open Monday‒Wednesday mornings) to get your name on the list to attend the classes, after which you will have the opportunity to join or not, as you see fit. Show your Christian discipleship and commitment by becoming a member of Mt. Pisgah Presbyterian Church this spring.
Anne Thomas, a literacy missionary to Southeast Asia, will speak at the Mount Pisgah Women meeting on Wednesday, April 4, at 1:00. All women are invited.
