Bring back the baby bottles this Sunday. Less than a week to fill that bottle with change for Care Net’s compassionate crisis-pregnancy ministry. Let’s be a wildly generous church as we support those who give and preserve life, even when it is difficult!
Care Net Banquet, November 4 – The 6:00 banquet in Ellensburg is a fine opportunity to connect with Care Net’s ministry. If you are interested in joining others from Mt. Pisgah at the banquet, contact Art or Susan Colts: 674-9619.
Mount Pisgah Women – The monthly meeting will be on Wednesday, November 6 at 1:00 pm. You do not need to be a member to attend.
Sunday, November 10, at 6:30 pm here at church: A Billy Graham Ice Cream Social. We’ll make ice cream sundaes and watch evangelist Billy Graham’s final crusade message. Important: BRING A FRIEND! This is a super opportunity for someone to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Operation Christmas Child update – Do you see the many shoebox gifts accumulating? We plan to do hundreds. Help out on Wednesdays at 2:00 downstairs here at church. Still needed: paper supplies, sturdy toys, fabric, yarn and large size rubber bands that secure the box. You can pick up a list of items and ideas on the table by the front door. Questions? Check with Beth Matanich: 649-3424.
Who do you recommend? The Congregational Nominating Committee continues its work to nominate elders and officers to be elected in February. Give Rosie Dewey your suggestions for Nominating Committee prayer and consideration. Talk with her after church, or by e-mail: nrdewey@gmail.com.
Save the dates – We have special events scheduled for November and December:
Monday, November 25, at 4:00 here: The Hanging of the Greens. We’ll decorate the church for Advent and Christmas and then have a light soup supper. This is a great way to enjoy one another and the meaning of the season.
Sunday, December 22, at 10:00 am, following worship here: Christmas Breakfast. Mt. Pisgah Women is preparing a festive breakfast for this final Sunday before Christmas. Come to worship and stay for a great breakfast.
