Pastor Jim update: Jim had surgery on his ankle on Saturday and is at home in Bellevue this week attempting to keep his ankle still. He hopes to be back in the pulpit this Sunday if all goes well. Pray for a rapid and complete recovery.
Women’s Study beginning – Women will meet on Tuesday, at 6:30 pm, at Jane Wallick’s home (801 W. 2nd St, Cle Elum) to study “Living with Confidence in a Chaotic World,” by Dr. David Jeremiah. All women are invited. The group will meet into December, break for Christmas, and resume in January.
Operation Christmas Child, Wednesday, November 20 at 2:00 pm – the shoe boxes are filled and ready to be packed for delivery to Yakima then into the hands of delighted children. These boxes carry the love of Christ through the many hands that collected, cut, filled, knitted, sewed, stuffed, and shopped. Thank you all for the many ways you serve this ministry that is making a big impact all over the world.
Coming Monday, November 25, at 4:00: The Hanging of the Greens. We’ll decorate the church for Advent and Christmas and then have a light soup supper. This is a great way to enjoy one another and the meaning of the season. The Sunday after Thanksgiving begins Advent, when we prepare for Christmas.
Cookie Exchange and luncheon: Wednesday, December 4 at Noon – All ladies are invited for some great food, a fun cookie exchange and fellowship. The cookie exchange is optional. Those wanting to participate bring 4 dozen cookies and a container to take your cookies home in. If you need more information call Susan Colts at 674-9619.
