Today, Monday, November 25, at 4:00: The Hanging of the Greens. We’ll decorate the church for Advent and Christmas and then have a light soup supper. This is a great way to enjoy one another and the meaning of the season. The Sunday after Thanksgiving begins Advent, when we prepare for Christmas.
Join the “Church Ladies” of Roslyn – Wednesday, December 4, at noon. Mount Pisgah Women have invited the women from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Episcopal Church of the Resurrection to a Christmas Luncheon and cookie exchange. All women attending Mount Pisgah are invited; you do not need to be a member. The cookie exchange is optional – those wanting to participate bring 4 dozen cookies to exchange and a container to take cookies home in. Mount Pisgah women bring a salad to share. Call Susan Colts, at 674-9619, with questions.
Operation Christmas Child update – 329 shoe boxes are on their way to the hands of delighted children. These boxes carry the love of Christ through the many hands that collected, cut, filled, knitted, sewed, stuffed, and shopped. Thank you all for the many ways you serve this ministry that is making a big impact all over the world.
Women’s Study beginning – Women will meet on Tuesday nights, at 6:30 pm, at Jane Wallick’s home (801 W. 2nd St, Cle Elum) to study “Living with Confidence in a Chaotic World,” by Dr. David Jeremiah. All women are invited. The group will meet into December, break for Christmas, and resume in January. Call Kathy Juris, at 656-2252, if you have questions.
