Help our Shoebox Ministry ‒ Our Operation Christmas Child workers are seeking donation of items for small sewing kits for the shoebox gifts. Especially needed are needles, thread, buttons, small scissors, trims, and material. Place your donated items in an OCC box near the door—if you have a notion to give.
Interested in the Relay for Life, to fight cancer? Let the church office know if you would be interested in either participating in the relay or coordinating the participation by this church. Session is contemplating involvement. The relay is July 20 & 21.
Get your offering envelopes. The use of offering envelopes provides a number of advantages: (1) They deliver a way to give tax receipts for cash donations; (2) they provide privacy in the plate; and (3) they offer a weekly reminder to give. Boxes are available on the table by the door. Please sign for the box number you take.
Mt. Pisgah Women will meet on February 6 at 1:00 pm, here. Membership is not necessary to attend the Mt. Pisgah Women meetings. If you have a heart for Christ, the Church, and missions than you are welcome.
The Annual Congregational Meeting will be held on Sunday, February 24, immediately following the worship service. All members are asked to attend this brief meeting, to hear plans for 2013 and to elect officers to serve the church.
