Looking for a Fourth of July innovation? Columnist and radio personality Dennis Prager has devised a brief ceremony for families to use on Independence Day. It is somewhat in the form of the Jewish Passover Seder, but it is intended to bring out the meaning of our independence and liberty, celebrated on the Fourth of July. Children’s vacation outreach – This summer, plans are coming together for a weekly afternoon outreach to children in Roslyn. Susan Colts is heading up a plan for a 90-minute “mini VBS” to be held on Tuesday afternoons, beginning July 16 for five weeks. A number of simple tasks for helpers are available, and we do need people to help. If you have a heart for seeing children brought to faith in Jesus Christ and can lend a hand, please talk with Susan.
