You can become a Mt. Pisgah member! If you’re a visitor, no sense of visiting someone else’s church. You can proclaim your faith and show your fidelity by becoming a church member this summer. Starting July 15, 6:30 to 8:00, and continuing for two more Sunday-evening sessions on July 22 and August 12, the classes will look at our faith, this congregation, and personal commitment. Attend to decide if church membership is right for you. No one is obligated to join at the end of the process. Is now the time for you to say to your friends at Mt. Pisgah, “I do love Jesus Christ, and I’m in with you!”? Come this evening to get started toward full membership.
Mt. Pisgah elders meet Tuesday at 4:00 this week. Please pray for your church leaders as they give extra effort and prayer for the welfare and mission of this congregation. You have elected them to this service, and your prayers and support are so helpful as Mt. Pisgah seeks to be faithful and effective.
The Men’s Group meets again at church at 6:30 pm on Tuesday to continue study of the Book of Acts—an account of what God did with a group of people fired up for the Lord. All men are invited, and this is a good time to jump into the experience. Several men meet at the Pastime Café for $1 tacos about 5:30 before the meeting.
Operation Christmas Child needs washcloths, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, and combs to fill hygiene bags. Donations are appreciated and can be left near the coat rack in the foyer. No liquids, please.
