Get your bling on! Marian Russ will lead a class in making some simple jewelry on Tuesday, December 9 at 2:00 pm, upstairs here at the church. Supplies will be provided (you may give donations towards their purchase). For more information call Beth Matanich at 649-3424.
Our celebration of Christmas will include a Christmas Breakfast at 10:00 am following worship on Sunday, December 21, and a 5:00 pm Christmas Eve Candlelight Service in our sanctuary on December 24. Christmas is a prime time for us to invite guests to share our celebration of Jesus’ birth. People may join you in worship at Christmas who might not come any other time of the year. Who in particular can you invite and bring on December 21 or Christmas Eve? Be praying for those people now and put out an invitation in faith. Offer to bring them with you, so they won’t feel awkward. Let’s reach out in love to the people around us. Wouldn’t it be great if some people received three or four invitations!
Bible Study Fellowship will begin a Tuesday daytime women’s class at our church in January. BSF is an in-depth, interdenominational Bible study that helps people know God and equips them to effectively serve the Church. The class will start Tuesday, January 13 at 10:00 am. The current study is “The Life of Moses”. The study starting in the fall of 2015 is the book of Revelation. For more information or to enroll (required), call Carol Hornall, group leader, at 674-6863 or 304-4568. “BSF produces mature Christians, and I highly recommend it,” says Pastor Berkley.
Please remember your church in your year-end giving! Our needs are many, even though we won’t hound you with requests.
