Our Men’s Group meets Tuesday evenings at 6:30 in the church office. All men are invited to this Bible study. The men are studying the remarkable life of David, who began as a shepherd and rose to become the famous King of Israel, as the history is told in 1 Samuel. New men are warmly welcomed. Bibles are supplied.
Tuesday Potluck coming – Hold the date of Tuesday, September 30, at 5:00 here at church for a fellowship potluck. Salad and baked potatoes will be supplied by Roslyn Presbyterian Women, and you are asked to bring potato toppings or a dessert to share. Bring someone new to the supper. It is a great, low-key way to introduce people to the warm relationships found in our church.
Want to be a part of spreading the Gospel to children? Operation Christmas Child is meeting every Tuesday at 2:00 pm, here at church to fill the boxes that are sent to children around the world through Samaritan’s Purse. Needed items for the boxes are hard candies, beanie baby-type toys, and school supplies.
Save this date: Saturday, October 11, for our annual Italian Dinner. This scrumptious dinner that is a local favorite will be held on the second Saturday in October this year from 4 to 7 pm. Tickets will be on sale soon, so make plans to come and bring friends. Prices are: adults – $10; children under 10 – $5; children under 5 – free.
