Bravo for the Operation Christmas Child workers! This faithful church and a band of dedicated workers have lovingly labored for a year to fill 330 boxes for children in impoverished places around the world. Three hundred and thirty children will get treasured gifts this Christmas because of you—and they will also know that Jesus loves them. Here’s a telling comparison: Nearly 13,000 employees of the Los Angeles Police Department were pleased to fill a total of 242 shoeboxes, and OCC made a video about it. Fewer than 100 people in this church filled over 300 shoeboxes! Thank you to everyone who works or contributes. You rock!
Men’s Group decides polygamy is not a good idea. You are probably relieved to read this. But seriously, the men are discussing the life of King David from 2 Samuel and are learning a lot. All men are invited on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 in the church office downstairs. Prior Bible knowledge is not a requirement, and Bibles are supplied. Cookies usually make an appearance, too.
