Spaghetti Dinner next Saturday, October 6 ‒ The popular annual “Taste of Italy Spaghetti Dinner” returns next Saturday, 4‒7 pm here at church. Enjoy authentic Italian cuisine, including homemade sauce with Glondo’s sausage, Italian garlic bread, always-popular salad bar, and Mississippi Mud with ice cream. Cost: $10; children 5‒10, $5; and children under 5, free. Reach out to your friends in the community to invite them. Pick up your tickets from the church office (649-3572), or Kathy Juris (656-2252).
A new Bible study for women begins on Tuesday evening, October 9, at 6:30 at Jane Wallick’s home, 801 W 2nd St., Cle Elum. This study of the Book of Esther is for all women and led by women, using materials by Beth Moore. Copies of the study guide for participants will be available from the office for $7.50. Please tell Jan Labberton (649-2911), or the office(649-3572) you are coming so enough are ordered. Beforehand, you can also join others at the Pastime Café at 5:30 for Taco Tuesday – Tacos 2 for $1.
Mount Pisgah Women will have their monthly meeting on Wednesday, October 3 at 1:00 pm. Kathy Juris is the hostess this month. There are fun activities planned for this coming holiday season – all women are welcome to join in.
Manning the refreshment booth at the Indian John Hill rest area is part of the fundraising efforts for Mount Pisgah Women to fund mission giving. Monday, October 8, women will be gathering at Jane Wallick’s home, 801 W 2nd St., Cle Elum to call and reserve for a time slot for 2013. If you have a cell phone, can be there by 8:15, and want some fun and refreshments, let Rosie Dewey (649-3507) know you will be there.
