Is God calling you to join Mt. Pisgah? New Member Classes begin next Sunday evening, July 15, 6:30‒8:00, and will continue July 22 and August 12. All persons seeking church membership are asked to take part, and those unsure about membership are also invited. The classes will give you an opportunity to consider your faith, this congregation, and personal commitment. Feel free to attend even if you are unsure of joining. Is now the time for you to say to your friends at Mt. Pisgah, “I do love Jesus Christ, and I’m in with you!”? Please call the church office (649-3572) to sign up.
Next Sunday, Dr. Berkley resumes his summer series with “God’s Wisdom on Hunger,” from 1 John 3:17‒18. He will also report briefly on his observations from the PCUSA General Assembly, just completed in Pittsburgh. Dr. Berkley will be at the Whitworth Institute of Ministry for a week of study leave this week.
Operation Christmas Child needs washcloths, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, and combs to fill hygiene bags. Any donations can be left near the coat rack in the foyer and are appreciated. No liquids, please.
