“And You shall bring us safely into Your heavenly kingdom. To You be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” (2 Timothy 4:18)
“Lord Jesus, You gave Yourself for our sins, that You might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father, to Whom be the glory for ever and ever. Amen.” (Galatians 1:4, 5)
“To You, God only wise, be glory, through Jesus Christ, for ever. Amen.” “For from You and through You and to You are all things. To You be the glory for ever and ever. Amen.”
(Romans 16:27; Romans 11:36)
“To You, O God, be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever ever. Amen!”
. (Ephesians 3:21)
“Bless the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, You are very great! You are clothed with splendor and majesty…May the glory of the Lord endure forever; may the Lord rejoice in His works. I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have being. May my meditation be pleasing to Him, for I rejoice in the Lord. Bless the Lord, O my soul! Praise the Lord!” (Psalm 104:1, 31,33-34, 35b,c)

SONG OF PRAISE: “O God Beyond All Praising”
1 O God beyond all praising, we worship you today
and sing the love amazing that songs cannot repay;
for we can only wonder at every gift you send,
at blessings without number and mercies without end:
we lift our hearts before you and wait upon your word,
we honour and adore you, our great and mighty Lord.
2 The flower of earthly splendor in time must surely die,
its fragile bloom surrender to you, the Lord most high;
but hidden from all nature the eternal seed is sown
though small in mortal stature, to heaven’s garden grown;
for Christ the man from heaven from death has set us free,
and we through him are given the final victory.
3 Then hear, O gracious Saviour, accept the love we bring,
that we who know your favour may serve you as our king;
and whether our tomorrows be filled with good or ill,
we’ll triumph through our sorrows and rise to bless you still:
to marvel at your beauty and glory in your ways,
and make a joyful duty our sacrifice of praise.
.
INVOCATION: In Unison
Holy God, We acknowledge Your sovereign power and bow our hearts in Your presence. We humbly ask that You would descend upon us today. We beseech Your favor, that You might draw us into deeper fellowship. We pray that we might be made to walk in the Spirit and not according to the flesh. We desire that we might be exposed to Your holiness so that we might walk away radiating with holiness ourselves to become like Your Son in righteousness, wisdom, and grace. We ask that this time might be a time of worship and a time of transformation; a time of praise and a time of conversion; a time of reverence and a time of repentance. For this we ask in Jesus Name. Amen.
.
HYMN OF WORSHIP: “He Will Hold Me Fast”
1 When I fear my faith will fail, Christ will hold me fast;
When the tempter would prevail, He will hold me fast.
I could never keep my hold through life’s fearful path;
For my love is often cold; He must hold me fast.
He will hold me fast, He will hold me fast;
For my Saviour loves me so, He will hold me fast.
2 Those He saves are His delight, Christ will hold me fast;
Precious in his holy sight, He will hold me fast.
He’ll not let my soul be lost; His promises shall last;
Bought by Him at such a cost, He will hold me fast.
He will hold me fast, He will hold me fast;
For my Saviour loves me so, He will hold me fast.
3 For my life He bled and died, Christ will hold me fast;
Justice has been satisfied; He will hold me fast.
Raised with Him to endless life, He will hold me fast
‘Till our faith is turned to sight, When He comes at last!
He will hold me fast, He will hold me fast;
For my Saviour loves me so, He will hold me fast.

CONFESSING OUR SIN TOGETHER: In Unison
God of love, it is Your will that we should love You with heart, soul, mind, strength, and our neighbor as ourselves, but we are not sufficient for these things. We confess that our affections continually turn away from You: from purity to lust, from freedom to slavery, from compassion to indifference, from fullness to emptiness. Have mercy on us. Order our lives by Your holy Word, and make Your commandments the joy of our hearts. Conform us to the image of Your loving Son, Jesus, that we may shine before the world to Your glory. Amen. Use the next few moments for quiet reflection and confession of sins to God.
.
ASSURANCE OF PARDON:
In Jesus Christ, our sins are forgiven and we have been made right with God. Go, therefore, with the Holy Spirit, and sin no more. (Titus 2:11–14)

HYMN OF ADORATION: “O Lord, My Rock and My Redeemer,”
1 O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer
Greatest treasure of my longing soul
My God, like You there is no other
True delight is found in You alone
Your grace, a well too deep to fathom
Your love exceeds the heaven’s reach
Your truth, a fount of perfect wisdom
My highest good and my unending need
2 O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer
Strong defender of my weary heart
My sword to fight the cruel deceiver
And my shield against his hateful darts
My song, when enemies surround me
My hope, when tides of sorrow rise
My joy, when trials are abounding
Your faithfulness, my refuge in the night
3 O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer
Gracious Savior of my ruined life
My guilt and cross laid on Your shoulders
In my place You suffered bled and died
You rose, the grave and death are conquered
You broke my bonds of sin and shame
You rose, the grave and death are conquered
You broke my bonds of sin and shame
O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer
May all my days bring glory to Your Name
May all my days bring glory to Your Name

THE WORD SPEAKS TO OUR LIVES: Pastor Geoffrey Brown

CLOSING SONG: “I Cannot Tell”
1 I cannot tell why He the King of heaven,
Should leave the peace of all eternity,
Why God Himself should lay aside His
splendor To leave the Father’s side and come to me.
But this I know our silence filled with singing
And all our darkness fled from heaven’s light
When Christ the Lord so human, yet so holy,
In love was born a child for me that holy night.
2 I cannot tell why He, the Joy of Heaven,
Should give Himself to suffer for my sin,
Why holy God should love me in my shamefulness,
Why He should die to draw my soul to Him.
But this I know: That Christ the Lord is risen,
And praise His name, He’s risen now in me!
Because He lives, I’ll rise to life eternal!
He took my guilty heart, and I’m forever free!
3 I cannot tell when He will rule the nations,
How He will claim His loved ones as His own;
And who can tell the holy jubilation
When all His children gather ’round His
But this I know All flesh will see His glory,
And skies will burst as all creation sings
The Son will rise on one eternal morning
When Christ the Savior of the world,
When Christ, the Savior of the world, is Lord and King!
